Dirt Works Land Rover consists of a diverse group of Mountain Bikers with extensive experience in many disciplines of extreme sports such as, Snowboarding, Free Skiing, BMX, Motocross and of course all facets of Mountain Biking. Dirt Works Land Rover members are located in in the North Eastern United States, a up and coming hot-bed for Extreme Downhill Mountain Biking. Tony Watkins heads the Team with many years of insightful experience to drive Dirt Works Land Rover to Victory. Tony is a four time US Mountain Bike Team Member ('00 -'03). He is currently ranked 4th in the World Masters Championship '03. It is the belief that all Dirt Works Land Rover members can only achieve podiums through a mastery of all mountain bike disciplines. Members have been selected for their constant dedication to this philosophy and for the consistency with which victory has been achieved. Above all Dirt Works Land Rover is about riding and racing with friends. 2003 Season Re-Cap and News It was an amazing season for the Dirt Works Land Rover team. This season was an all out assault on DH and DS courses across North America. With a total of 21 podiums DWLR has cemented itself as a formidable team for the competition to sweat about. With these excellent results comes some change. Steve Van Pelt was extremely consistent this year we are all amped to support him in stepping up to semi-pro next season. Dirt Works Land Rover has undergone some sponsorship changes as well. Land Rover is now a leading sponsor, hence the name change. MAC Tools committed to providing DWLR with tools, tents and support to help fuel the 2004 podium count. DWLR is proud to have them aboard. We also added a new team member for the up coming 2004 season. Joining the team from York, Pennsylvania is BJ Treglia. BJ is a semi-pro racer who placed 7th in the Plattekill Northface Extreme series in the pro class. We are excited to have BJ on the team and look forward to supporting his efforts in 2004. Well now that the snow is beginning to fall we are all settling in for some winter maintenance and some time spent on the board or skis. All the team members would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors for supporting us throughout this great year.
