Eat Healthy, Feel Great

August 25, 2013 by gravitybread Filed Under: Books and Mealtime, Healthy Eating

eat healthy feel greatSummer is a great time to eat well and teach your children about eating healthy, especially with the farmers markets selling fresh fruits and vegetables that are delicious both raw and cooked. It’s also an ideal time because many of our children are going to be choosing their own lunches in the cafeteria for the upcoming school year.

Eat Healthy, Feel Great by William and Martha Sears and Christie Watts Kelly (Preschool and up) is an excellent educational book to read during mealtime (or any time of day). It’s a valuable book to have in your library because it can be a great resource to refer back to when trying to teach your children about “healthy eating”.
